Decoding the Baptism’s Mystery

The unbelievers who are presently alive and those who have died, the Ten Commandments hold them captive and in spiritual death. Because of this death and captivity, the church performs a burial of a new convert in the name of Jesus Christ. Being baptized into Christ’s death, the believer gains freedom from the Ten Commandments and becomes alive (quickens).
